I’ve been pretty busy with work these days so not much time shoot photographs or blog. Snowboarding season is almost here, cabin and passes all good to go for the season. Pretty stoked about the “triple whammy” this year. The house still got room for a few more shredder so let me know if you’re [...]

Switched comments system to IntenseDebate

I just switched to IntenseDebate, the plugin is dope, it imports your existing comments to IntenseDebate, and when a new comment is posted it also adds it to your blog’s database, so there is zero cost to try it as you can always switch back. I enabled Facebook Connect and Twitter login, when you post [...]

Just turned off daily tweets digest

I feel like the tweets digest are taking over the blog as I don’t blog enough. Also people can see my tweets by following me on Twitter or going to my Twitter page so having them here just added noise. So I have turned off daily tweets digest just now. Btw it is a pain [...]

Dealistic launched!

I’m happy to tell you that we have finally launched Dealistic! It is a side project Ray and I spent most of our free time in the past 3 months on. We created Dealistic because both of us were frustrated on the existing deals sites on the interweb — they never deliver deals on the [...]

IE display problems fixed

I think I’ve fixed the problems, it had to do with using a UL in the About widget block in the sidebar, I don’t have IE to test it now, but it looks better in Net Renderer now.

steez changes

Like now the code blocks get smaller font-size [...]

this blog is now iPhone/iPod Touch optimized

For the privileged people with iPhone and iPod Touch, you now can enjoy an optimized version of this blog thanks to the iwphone plugin… It basically checks for HTTP_USER_AGENT, so unless you can specify that in Safari on the iPhone/Touch, you are pretty much stuck with the optimized version…

daily photo: our yorkie Fee-Fee Sun, R.I.P.

Our beloved yorkie, Fee-Fee Sun, left us today at around 1pm. He was 6 years old and 5 and a half pounds. It was an accident. He was at his favorite park, Washington Square, with his favorite pink toy, and he was attacked by a bigger dog. The big dog picked Fee-Fee up and twisted [...]

now using subversion to track wordpress updates

I use Subversion for work so I thought it’d be easier to just checkout or switch to wordpress’ release tags instead of downloading tarballs every time they have a new release. They actually have instructions on how you track changes with Subversion. I just followed it and the upgrade went smoothly. Next time I can [...]
